Experienced Theology Professor Pastor Jonathan N. Gerstner
An ordained minister, Pastor Jonathan N. Gerstner has worked for the San Pablo Theological Seminary in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, as a visiting professor of theology since 2019. He also oversees faculty recruiting and leadership as the president of Yucatan International Academy. Rev. Jonathan N. Gerstner has served theology students in the United States as part of the adjunct faculty at Gateway Seminary since 2010.
Minister Jonathan Gerstner is the co-founder of the Hispanic Ministry Training Center in Phoenix and Mesa, Arizona. He coordinated all programming and worked as a theology and ministerial studies instructor. A few of his past positions include professor of history of Christianity and apologetics and dean of students at Knox Theological Seminary and acting academic dean at Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio.
Rev. Jonathan Gerstner has studied theology and the history of Christianity extensively. He holds doctoral degrees from the University of Chicago Divinity School, and has done graduate study at the University of Stellenbosch, and the University of Utrecht. He is also a certified professional in talent development (CPTD) and a certified instructional technologist (CIT).
